In Hindu and Buddhist cultures in particular a Mandala will serve as a representation of the universe and a guide on the path to enlightenment.We see the geometric design appear in meditation practices, yoga studios, healing circles, and numerous religious environs.  The habit of creating and collecting mandalas is a transformative practice that is intended to restore inner peace and wisdom within.In our new workshop, you’ll be able to explore your own creativity and create a one-of-a-kind artwork.  Jenie will assist you with understanding glass art techniques to create a piece that you’ll absolutely treasure.  This is designed especially for people with no knowledge of glass art.  Its for absolute beginners and your friends.With her assistance, you'll gain a better understanding of the medium of glass art.  The result will be a personal and meaningful art piece, that showcases your individuality.This workshop offers you a multitude of benefits, such as clearing your mind, reducing stress as well as boosting your creativity.The total cost of the workshop includes all the glass used, tuition, kiln work as well as the wrought iron stand you see here.  During this workshop you will be using my pre cut shapes, babies, noodles, stringers and part-sheets.  Everything that is in the studio at the time of your workshop is available for you to use in building your mandala.  Every single one of the glass babies is handmade, so every piece you make will create a totally unique Mandala.Jenie will be right here to guide you all the way to your finished piece.Celebrate with your friends in a special way with our mandala meditation workshop.It's a wonderful gift idea for your friend who wants to explore her creative side and relax through artistic expression.You are also welcome to bring your own wine/nibbles if you want to have a Mandala party.The mandala you see here is 20cms x 20cms and the price of the workshop includes this iron stand (until stocks run out).You can make mandala bowls as well and the prices are here:25cm Mandala Bowl will be $19935cm Mandala Bowl will be $395If you don’t see a time and date that suits you here message me through ClassBento and we will add a new date just for you.You’ll love this workshop! No previous experience is required. • About art glass and how it performs in the kiln

• You don't need to bring anything, everything is provided.
• BYO food or refreshments you'd like to enjoy during our class.
• Please wear closed-toe shoes (no thongs, no sandals that expose your toes). Ideally, please wear a t-shirt (or something that covers your shoulders).
• You need to be able to climb the staircase at 550 Swan Street as it's the only way to get to my fabulous studio.
