This makeup course is designed for both beginners and intermediate students, as you will learn all the fundamentals of applying primer, foundation, concealer and setting powders. These simple and quick makeup tips will provide the best base for your face, before you work on the finishing touches of your makeup.
You will be guided by leading industry expert, Kerry Howell, as she teaches you:
- How to use primer, concealers, and foundation for a more flawless look;
- What primers can do for your foundation;
- Which types of foundation are best suited for your skin type, tone and age (fluid, stick, powders);
- Which concealers and colours are best for problem areas;
- How to select foundations, concealers and primers that best suit your skin tone, texture, and features.
At the end of the class, you will have learned these essential makeup skills, as well as received direct advice from Kerry on which makeup products are ideal for you.

Beginners and anyone thinking of becoming a makeup artist (this is a great introductory course to see if it’s right for you).
What to bring
- Head band
- Notepad and pen
- Your own makeup bag & brushes (if preferred, your tutor can supply brushes and makeup. However please bring these basics along – mascara, eye makeup remover and moisturiser)
- Magnified mirror if required (small general focus mirrors will be provided)
