2 hours Class size 3 to 5 guests

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to create your own unique mug from scratch. Our friendly instructor will guide you through the process step-by-step, from shaping the clay to adding personal touches that reflect your personality. No previous experience is required!
During the class, you'll have the chance to work with clay, which can be a therapeutic and rewarding activity, allowing you to tap into your creative side and express yourself through art.
By the end of the workshop, you will have not only a beautiful handmade mug but also the satisfaction of creating something entirely your own. Get ready to unleash your creativity and enjoy a fun and rewarding experience!
Classes are held in Point Cook, VIC.
Please note: At the end of this class, your mug will not be glazed and food-safe. You can sign up for the paint your own mug workshop if you'd like to paint and glaze it yourself or we can simply glaze and fire it for you. You can pick up the mug (can take up to three weeks) or have it posted to you for a small fee.
While we take great care in crafting our pottery, the nature of the art means that occasional imperfections, such as cracking or breaking in the kiln may occur.

Hi, I'm Zakhi. I'm 24 and a ceramicist in the making. I teach how to make cute ceramic functional ware like mugs and plates. Teaching and art is my true passion, though I have loads of experience in teaching the serious arts like law and science. For now, I’m just trying to live life through art and spark interest in art around me.
