Heidi Melamed
Heidi Melamed is an artist and educator who has always drawn and painted. Throughout her creative life, she has surrounded herself with images and objects that she loves to bring her joy. She is passionate about art and her mission is to share this joy with others in as many ways as she can.
As an artist, if Heidi can inspire people to find joy in art, which inevitably enriches one’s life, then that is a footprint that she will proudly leave. For many years, Heidi used traditional mediums for drawing and painting and now works across disciplines using mixed media and paint with light in space. Just as everyone can find inspiration from the world, Heidi gets inspired by things she sees from walking the dogs to travelling to reading books and magazines - her eyes are always open to absorb what she sees.Graduating with two Master degrees in five years has given Heidi the opportunity to be part of two very different and dynamic institutions; the UNSW Art and Design and The National Art School. Having been immersed in these centres of learning has changed the way that she sees and responds to the world around her. Giving herself this opportunity to learn has been a ‘standout’ moment in her life but by far, the most ‘stand out’ moments have been being able to share this experience with her own children.verified_user Money-back guarantee
