Learn life drawing at this figure drawing course in Sydney! By the end of the day, you will take home your drawing and have greatly improved your skills.
This course is designed for all levels but some previous drawing experience will be beneficial. In this full-day Sydney workshop, you will learn how to draw the human nude from life, investigating form, line and expression through a mix of techniques.
The workshop will begin with an introduction to life drawing, before diving into the course content which includes the basic principles of drawing from life, structure and form, perspective in the figure, using tone, schematic shading techniques and tonal orchestration. During the day you will complete a life drawing of a professional model in various ways, under the guidance of a practicing artist.
At the conclusion of the workshop, you will take home your drawing, and have experimented with a variety of approaches to the human form and will have learned how to combine your own personal expression with an appreciation of the life model.
You are eligible for a 10% discount when you provide proof of enrolment at Tillys Art Supplies (Rozelle), Newtown Art Supplies and Eckersley’s Art Supplies (Sydney). Just show a copy of your course enrolment confirmation.
This class can be booked for private events; for more details (including price quote), please just contact us via the button in our profile below.
