Looking to become more eco-friendly? Join Reverse Garbage for their upcycling leatherwork workshop in Sydney and learn basic skills from a friendly professional to create or repair any leather pieces you have at home!
This workshop will show you how to complete two leather joining techniques. These may be used to build or mend objects made of leather or similar materials. The techniques are known as saddle stitching and lacing. You will learn how to design, mark out, cut, glue and stitch items of everyday use from scrap garment leather.
Whether you're searching for a new hobby or fun things to do this weekend, this leatherwork workshop could be a great pick for you! You'll learn all the basic skills to create your very own pieces to take home and the confidence to continue practising your crafting at home too.
