Learn the basics of sewing knit and stretch fabrics in this hands-on Sydney workshop!
In this workshop, you will learn how to read a basic pattern, make small alterations, cut your fabric, and sew a stretch garment. Learn how to sew stretch fabrics on the sewing machine or an overlocker.
Have a go at using the overlocker for the first time and learn how to use it to get a professional-looking garment. Hem your garment with a neat twin needle stitch for that finishing touch.
Complete the workshop feeling confident after you have sewn yourself a basic t-shirt, t-shirt dress or pair of leggings in class!
Please note: You need to have recent sewing experience to attend this workshop. You should be of at least a beginner skill level and set up and operate a sewing machine independently. If you would like to learn how to sew to attend this workshop or you need a refresher you can attend our Introduction to Sewing Course.
