In this class, we'll be using Buckram to create the foundation and silk to cover to give a luxurious and elegant result. Finish your design with a perfect bow at the back and you'll be right on trend!
This tutorial is a live Zoom session. You'll be sent Zoom log in details prior to your virtual workshop as well as an equipment and materials list.

The French-inspired studio is an intimate space where her creations evolve over appointments with the client. Catherine’s style and colour inspiration comes from her travels, her fascination for architecture and interior design, her studies in, and as a teacher of textiles, design, and millinery. “Millinery is the perfect outlet for my passion for fabric, colour and texture” says Catherine who puts to use her skills acquired over 30 years. Her National and International award winning designs are regularly featured in the press, her teaching skills are valued in schools, colleges, and industry, and she has appeared regularly on television showcasing her work. A career highlight was working on the team at Opera Australia assisisting with making the Hats for the Ascot Scene of My Fair Lady. She is the creator of Hattember® which celebrates and supports the millinery industry in an annual Millinery and Wearable Art Competition and raises funds for the John Skipper Kelly Fund.
