Join us for an inspiring kokedama workshop where creativity meets sustainability! Kokedama is a traditional Japanese planting style, gaining popularity, where you wrap your plant in soil and moss and either hang it or keep it in a little saucer.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn to craft your own beautiful kokedama with the help of our expert instructor. The instructor will guide you step-by-step, ensuring you leave with a stunning, self-made kokedama and the knowledge to create more at home.
For a more eco-friendly approach, we use coco coir as an alternative to moss as it is harvested more sustainably and boasts excellent water retention and natural resistance to pests.
We also use recycled hessian coffee bags supplied by Black Market Coffee in Marrickville.
Kokedama can be easily kept indoors or on a balcony.
Our workshop space is tranquil and relaxing and perfect for getting in touch with your creative side. Bring a friend or loved one and experience the joy of making kokedama together!
