What you'll do
Kids loom weaving course in Melbourne. Join Hoda for a beginner-friendly tapestry course.In this four-week course, kids will learn the essentials and create a tapestry using a variety of fibres in your chosen colour scheme. It's a great opportunity to make a unique artwork!They'll first get acquainted with essential loom weaving terms and tools like setting up and warping their timber loom. Then, they'll dive into weaving techniques and knots such as Tabby Weave, Rya Knots, and Soumak with the lovely teacher, Hoda.By the end of the course, kids will discover how to properly remove their completed weaving from the loom, preparing it for display as a beautiful wall hanging.
