Meet the Fronsters – the friendly monsters!
In this kids’ hand sewing workshop, your child will learn the basics of hand sewing by making their own friendly monster from recycled materials. While they are given the basic shape, they are encouraged to use their imagination to design their Fronster’s features.
The workshop is beginner-friendly, and our class sizes are kept small to ensure one-on-one guidance where necessary.
Through this experience, your child will not only develop new skills and techniques but also gain a sense of accomplishment and pride in their wonderful creation.

What you'll get
All materials will be given to the Fronster once they are complete, and they will take them home with them.

What to bring
Attendees should bring their water bottle and need to wear closed shoes as we will be working with scissors. While every attempt is made to keep your children clean, we will be working with glue so please don't dress to impress!

Hi I'm Deb, Owner, Designer and Maker from Stalia Design.
Coming from a long family history of creativity it's no surprise I started working for a sewing machine company at age 20, then at 24 I opened my own sewing shop.
A few years later I thought I would give the corporate world a try and got stuck there for almost 20 years (all the while making clothes and costumes for my children) until a chronic illness diagnosis rescued me!
Completing my Cert IV in Design and a Diploma in Surface Design rekindled my creative spark and I now offer you the opportunity to create beautiful, mindful pieces. With a focus on sustainability and repurposing reclaimed textiles.
Workshops are run in our private space in Jannali and I also run private in-person workshops for hen's and bridal shower, birthday parties and team building.
I look forward to helping you create your very own masterpiece.
