Creative Kids
Just for the school holidays we’ve created a full day of fun, craft and learning new skills.
Kids and Teens get creative making their own polymer clay creations! In this very hands-on class the kids learn how to work with polymer clay and will get to design and make their own little collection of clay pieces. We will be making different types of beads for jewellery or key rings but the opportunities for creativity in this class are endless. They will also get to experiment and play to make a clay dish and wall hanging. The kids will have creative freedom to make so many things from polymer clay including figurines, brooches, pendants and rings.
Polymer clay is a very versatile material that is fun and easy to work with. You can mix your own unique colours and create different textures. Create whatever you like and then bake it in the oven to harden the clay. Some pieces will be bake on the day, other pieces can be taken home to bake in your home oven with instructions provided.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners aged 8 years old and up. All tools and materials are provided for this workshop. Please pack a healthy lunch, snacks and drink for the day.
Please get in touch if you need to drop your child off prior to 9:30am, or pick them up later than 3:00pm. We can try to offer extended care, but an additional fee will apply.
