I’m Katie, a passionate creative with a deep-rooted love for making, inspired by my grandparents who excelled in sewing, quilting, cooking, and gardening. My professional journey has taken me through creative events, marketing, fashion, and design, culminating in the successful operation of an award-winning maker space for Mirvac in Sydney. This experience sparked my enthusiasm for connecting with fellow creatives, whether they are teachers or customers.

Now, I’ve embraced my independent spirit and regularly conduct art and craft workshops in both retail and corporate environments. As a mum, I find immense joy in working with children, creating age-appropriate workshops that inspire creativity while allowing them the freedom to explore and express themselves.

For adults, I love to experiment with new trends in crafting, fostering connections among participants as they collaborate across the table. With my extensive experience as an event manager, I have successfully facilitated workshops for a variety of renowned organizations, including Broadway Sydney, East Village Shopping Centre, Rhodes Shopping Centre, Tefal, Bing Lee, Mirvac, TAFE NSW, Jaycar Electronics, and Rainbow Families.

I take pride in developing engaging workshops tailored for groups ranging from 20 to 300 participants. My goal is always to bring themes, activations, birthdays, and celebrations to life with my unique touch. I’m honoured to have received the Shopping Centre Council of Australia Award for Innovation, which reflects my commitment to making a positive impact in the creative community.
