My leatherwork journey started as a way of keeping myself busy, I was struggling mentally and emotionally with life and had a nervous breakdown. Things just became too much. I had tried many things to keep myself occupied, books, fitness, walking, and more but nothing seemed to interest me, I was drained, and I knew that if I did not find something of interest that I enjoyed my healing process would take more time. Leathercraft has given me this opportunity, a skill, a hobby that I enjoy very much. it is healing and therapy at the same time and I love creating new handmade pieces of art for anyone and anything, from wristbands and belts to custom hand tooled motorcycle seats and saddles. Nothing is impossible (ART IS THERAPY) it's constantly changing with every handmade product I create which I now sell all around the world and it's all Australian made. I suggest anyone who is struggling mentally, or emotionally, or just wants to learn and create beautiful fulfilling items to come and join me in a workshop and learn the old traditional art of leathercraft. It's fun, exciting, and hands-on, it will keep your mind busy and your skills high. You may just want to create, just have fun or you may even start a career out of it. But for me, it's therapy and something I have loved doing and if I can show others the things I learned and that helped me, I'm happy to share my experience and passion for art with you.
