What you'll do
We're thrilled to introduce you to the world of Jesmonite—an incredibly versatile material that combines the flexibility of resin with the durability of ceramics or pottery.What sets Jesmonite apart is its smooth, cement-like finish, often mistaken for ceramics or pottery. It's durable and doesn't require kiln firing, making it an ideal choice for immediate results. We have a variety of moulds for this class, so it's up to you what you'll make. Some of our moulds include:
- Oval tray
- Trinket bowl
- Tea-light candle holder
- Starfish trinket bowl
- Shell bowl
- Cone ring holder
- Unfortunately our venue is not wheelchair accessible due to two steps leading into the venue.
- This class is intended for participants over the age of 18.

Our story began in 2018 in a small Redfern studio. With only one desk and one sewing machine, our first class was published and we haven't looked back. Our passion for the arts coupled with bringing people together, brought our vision of launching a creative hub to life. In our modern world, everything moves quickly, we have adapted to a fast-paced environment and sometimes it can be hard to slow ourselves down. Sydney Creative is a place for people to relax, regroup and find a creative outlet that will hopefully aid in bringing people a sense of achievement, fulfilment and joy. Today, our classes run from our own venue in Redfern. We run lots of different creative classes from Sewing to Jewellery, painting and lots more, we love following the trends and developing new classes for our customers to enjoy.
