Join OOLAH STUDIO for a fun, hands-on taster workshop on the Central Coast where you’ll learn about the basics of block printing alongside Rachel's own contemporary approach.
Share in Rachel's passion for process and experiment with pre-cut geometric blocks to create your own colourful, beautifully imperfect, repeat pattern.
During this beginner-friendly class, you will hand block print your design on to a tea towel and pair of napkins — the perfect one-of-a-kind, handmade Christmas gift!
Come for a morning of colourful fun, produce your own piece of textile art, and leave with the knowledge to continue your new-found skill at home.

OOLAH STUDIO

OOLAH STUDIO was founded by Rachel Grimes-Carmichael in 2017, a momentous year in the Surface Designer’s life where she uncovered a passion for process, creating patterns and playing with colour.
A Block Printing Workshop in Sydney introduced Rachel to a completely new perspective of creating. She was immediately drawn to the simple, instantaneous method and the rhythm of the pattern unfolding in front of her eyes.
OOLAH STUDIO design and create original, colourful, perfectly imperfect hand block printed textiles on the Central Coast, NSW.
