This course is designed for individuals with little to no prior woodworking experience and beginners looking to build a strong foundation in woodworking skills.

With intimate class sizes of just six, we promise you personalised attention and guidance from our two dedicated instructors. What you will learn:

Each session unfolds with a safety briefing, followed by immersive demonstrations. Your learning is hands-on, under the supportive wings of our instructors. You'll engage in projects that challenge and celebrate your growth, each step a dance between tool and timber.
Upon completing "Woodworking Machinery Proficiency: Module 1, " not only will you have a foundational mastery of stationary woodworking machinery, but you'll also carry forward a sense of accomplishment and a newfound relationship with wood and tools. Your journey in precision, creativity, and woodworking excellence begins here.

What you'll get

  • Expert guidance in woodworking safety and fundamentals.
What to bring
  • Students wishing to bring their own PPE should come with a face mask, safety glasses or goggles, and earmuffs or earplugs.
  • Closed shoes are a mandatory requirement for all students.
  • Those with their own tools relevant to the class should bring them along to get better accustomed to using them, but we also supply all tools if you don't have any.
  • We have a kitchen on-site with a fridge and microwave for those who want to bring their own food, and there are also takeaway options within walking distance.

This class series runs over 8 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
