Enjoy the online class - after booking, you'll get a pre-recorded video with instructions. You're welcome to ask the teacher any questions you have.
During this pre-recorded class, you will learn abstract painting techniques to help you on your way - washes, layers, application with different tools - and create some abstract paintings.
Paint along with your teacher Yvette while she shows you various tools and painting techniques that can be used. Brushes, palette knives, sponges, stippling, feathering, adding texture, washes, layers...Then this first layer of painting is used as a background while you add more layers to complete a finished abstract painting. You will also see more layers added to previous works which you can do as you create more artworks.
The art lesson is a great foundation to learn various techniques and the use of certain tools. This can be brought to any style of painting you wish to create - abstract, semi-abstract, landscape, still life, or figurative. A great lesson to launch from.
This is a relaxed and fun class. Enjoy opening to the naturalness of creativity. If you're looking for creative things to do at home, then abstract painting is the perfect way to set you on a new artistic journey.
This class is most suitable for adults but children from seven years upwards are welcome as well.
Once the class is purchased, please allow up to 24 hours for a Private YouTube link to be sent with access. You will need to log into your YouTube/Google login. When booking the class, you will need to provide ClassBento with your email address, as this will be added to view the Private YouTube video. I usually grant access as soon as I can or the next morning, so it will be less than 24hrs, but please allow up to this in case. Thank you.
