In this intermediate drawing course, you will be expanding on the skills learnt in the beginner's drawing course, and for newcomers who have had experience with drawing before, you will have the opportunity to broaden your artistic skillset through learning a variety of different drawing techniques.
The six classes will cover areas such as:
  • The human figure and its proportions
  • The use of cross-hatching to shade
  • Landscape and the use of 2-point perspective
  • Drawing the human facial profile
  • Practice with observational still-life drawing
  • Understanding light through the use of white and black charcoal
  • Learning to scale and emulate an image using a grid technique
This course will be suited for people that have already had experience with drawing, or practice drawing currently and would like to improve their skills. For people new to drawing, please check out our Beginners course, where we start from scratch with the fundamentals.
This course will be run by our teacher Alex, who has experience and expertise in drawing through years of practice and has completed a degree in Fine Art in 2013.
