Join us for a unique and enriching Ikebana workshop where you will delve into the beautiful art of Japanese flower arranging. This workshop offers a perfect blend of history, technique and creativity, guided by an experienced instructor.
You'll be introduced to the art of ikebana, gaining insights into the history and philosophy of Ikebana. You'll also learn about the Sogetsu school of Ikebana, one of the most contemporary and dynamic schools in Japan.
Start with live demonstrations of traditional and modern Ikebana techniques to learn the basics of arranging flowers in a simpler format, ideal for beginners. From there you'll get your chance to create your own Ikebana arrangement using the techniques demonstrated. Receive personalised guidance and ideas from the instructor to help you design your unique style of arrangement.
Finish up the class with your own handmade ikebana and inspiration to continue creating floral arrangements at home. We'll offer practical ideas and tips on how to create stunning Ikebana arrangements at home so you can leave with the confidence and knowledge to continue your Ikebana practice independently.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in the art of flower arranging, from beginners to those with some experience.
