This workshop is tailored for crafters who are interested to learn how to make a hinged box by using decorative papers, glue, etc. No prior experience is required, just lots of patience and enthusiasm.
During this online class, we will be making a small hinged box (the box size is approx 11cm x 4cm x 7.5cm). After the class, you will be able to continue making boxes in different sizes using the same technique.
You will learn how to make a box from scratch. There will be lots of cutting involved using a cutter/blade, cutter mat and a steel ruler. An email will be sent to your registered email address 2-3 days prior to the class, including:
  • PDF handout
  • The class ZOOM link
  • A short video (approx 10 mins) about board cutting preparation
The class will predominantly consist of teacher demonstrations and explanations across two hours, and you will be able to follow along each step of the way. If you are unable to work along during the class, you can follow along and the recording will be available to review later.
