Hi there! I'm Heidi, an oil painting artist who loves sharing my passion for art with others. I've been actively exhibiting my work at galleries and art fairs for the past year, and I also teach oil painting classes in my home studio.

In the past, I taught oil painting in Hong Kong for over two years, and I've had the pleasure of working with students of all levels. I'm passionate about helping people learn to paint, and I believe that everyone can create beautiful art.

Heidi was great with a very easy style of teaching. 3 hours went so fast. If you have mobility issues be aware there is a full flight of steps. They were worth it. Thanks Heidi.

Really enjoyed my class with Heidi! She was really good at explaining what to do, and providing next steps. she was really attentive and constantly checking in to see how we were going! Loved the class and will definitely be returning for another!

Loved my session, the 3 hours were up before I knew it. All materials provided were great quality and Heidi was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in assisting me with my art. After this intro into oil painting, I am excited to delve into oil paints a bit more and hopefully book another session soon!

I spent my Sunday afternoon in a fantastic Oil Painting Class led by Heidi. The class was held in a small, cozy space and Heidi did an amazing job facilitating the session. In just 3 hours, I gained a wealth of knowledge about painting styles, colors, and the overall painting process. Heidi was incredibly supportive and answered all of my questions. I'm really looking forward to attending more painting classes in the future!

Heidi is an incredibly encouraging and helpful teacher! I went into my first class with her thinking that I'm not great at painting and left my fourth class excited to continue painting at home as a new hobby. She genuinely believes that everyone is capable of painting and as a result you believe the same. I'm already missing my Sunday painting classes and it's only Monday lol

Went to Heidi’s acrylic painting class for my Nonna’s birthday and we absolutely loved it! Heidi was super helpful and provided guidance the whole way through. The venue was also so calming to paint in and well organised. Great value for money! I will most likely return for another class with Heidi :)

What an amazing class! Heidi was so supportive! She was very encouraging and helped guide us through the process. She made using a tricky medium very simple.

I booked Heidi because I really liked her profile and her previous reviews. I loved that it was in a small room, didn't feel overwhelming. Heidi was such a patient and attentive teacher. She jumped in when I needed help but didn't over micromanage like some teachers do. I had an amazing time, hence why I'm coming back next Saturday again.

It was my very first time doing acrylic in a few years and Heidi made me feel so confident.

Highly recommend her.
The venue was cosy and quiet. All materials were provided by Heidi, even had a cute apron.
I was able to chose what I wanted to paint
I learned great shadowing techniques with Heidi!

My favourite part of the class was that it turned out as a VIP class for me as the 2nd student was ill, it was only me and the teacher. We had a great time!

Heidi was a wonderful teacher and was super helpful in showing us how to properly use the oil paints. We got to choose our own reference photos to paint and the end result was much better than expected thanks to Heidi’s help!
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed her class and would recommend her to anyone who is curious and/or enthusiastic about improving their painting skills!

The teacher was very lovely and friendly. She provided all materials. The venue was good. Parking was easy.
However the lesson was not what I expected. I thought the single class was a beginner class with a lot of introductory information and practice with the paints and brushes and the 4 classes were after you had completed the first one. Instead I did the same as the people doing the 4 classes which was copying a small painting. It was fine just not what I was expecting or wanting.

Hi Anna, Thank you for giving me a review! I am sorry that it is not exactly what you expected. In the class yesterday we talked about the basic info such as values, composition etc that are the introductory materials. I had also mentioned in the listing that it is for 1-3 people in one class. I did believe we had a good time yesterday as we all painted and chatted happily for 3 hours. I will edit my listings here to make it clearer for everyone. Hope it helps! And have a good day! :D

Had a great lesson with Heidi today. She is experienced and knowledgeable and guided me step by step whilst I worked on my painting. I gained so much confidence in the three hours I spent with her. In fact hardly had any sense of time - I forgot to stop even for a drink. It was so absorbing and empowering for me.
