Looking for fun pottery classes in Sydney? This hand building workshop is perfect for you if you have never played with clay before or used Japanese rice paper transfers. No drawing or painting experience is necessary.
We will be hand building a large tray with handles or a platter that will be functional, imagine crabs and prawns in this gorgeous tray, use it for serving drinks, it's totally up to you how you may want to use it.
You will be decorating it with Japanese rice paper transfers, which you can choose from a variety of designs on the night, we will guide you step by step in this three-hour workshop.
Once the clay has dried, we will then fire and glaze your pieces, and the collection of your trays from the studio will be three to four weeks later.
All materials, firings, and glazing are included in this workshop.

Tennyson Studio is my Ceramic Art and Paint N Sip Studio in Gladesville in Sydney. I took up ceramics and acrylic painting workshops as a hobby back in 1996, did US Ambassadors Ceramics Course with Duncan in 1998 and upon quitting my fulltime job, opened my studio in 2001.
We have been creating and inspiring anyone who has never painted before to unwind, create, and paint for the joy and therapeutic benefits. We are all about enjoying the experience with us especially if you have never painted or worked with ceramics before.
Our Introduction class session is a great way to see if you would like to join us in a course. We also offer kids and adult birthday parties, hens parties, corporate team bonding, school holiday workshops and kids art classes.
