Travel to Scandinavia from the comfort of our Tennyson Point studio and learn how to make a cute tea light house using hand building clay.
This fun workshop has been designed for absolute beginners. You will begin by making slabs with the clay to create gorgeous little tea light facades with cut-out windows and doors.
Create from our templates or design your own three-dimensional facades with the addition of window sills and ornate doors.
We will guide and teach you how to attach with SIP and then create a back arched area to add your lights into. If time allows you can create up to two houses!
After completing your design, you will paint them with an underglaze and then leave them with us to fire and add the final glaze. You can return to pick up your completed pieces after four weeks.

Tennyson Studio is my Ceramic Art and Paint N Sip Studio in Gladesville in Sydney. I took up ceramics and acrylic painting workshops as a hobby back in 1996, did US Ambassadors Ceramics Course with Duncan in 1998 and upon quitting my fulltime job, opened my studio in 2001.
We have been creating and inspiring anyone who has never painted before to unwind, create, and paint for the joy and therapeutic benefits. We are all about enjoying the experience with us especially if you have never painted or worked with ceramics before.
Our Introduction class session is a great way to see if you would like to join us in a course. We also offer kids and adult birthday parties, hens parties, corporate team bonding, school holiday workshops and kids art classes.
