In this hands-on class, you will learn the secrets to making these elusive and delicate French treats. Despite their reputation for being difficult to make, you will be amazed at how easy it is to make patisserie-quality macarons every time with our guidance! We will teach you the secrets to macaron success.
You will also learn to make 3 different fillings and take home a sample box of your creations.
This class includes a light lunch.

Owner and Pastry Chef - Janet Newton
The passion for baking and cooking started in childhood for Janet Newton. The long Christmas holidays she spent baking with Czechoslovakian family friend, Irene. During this time the family was provided with an endless supply of traditional tarts, slices, biscuits and cakes.
The wonderful love of sharing food with family and friends was born out of these one on one cooking lessons and is the inspiration behind the opening of The Yellow Door Kitchen.
Janet trained as Pastry Chef at the famous Le Cordon Bleu cooking school and has many years’ experience working in restaurants and patisseries. Her ability to combine flavours and her passion for baking is infectious and will ensure students are transported into a wonderful, creative world of cooking during her classes.
