Create Your Own Tealight Candle Holders
Come and join us for a fun and creative workshop where you’ll make your very own tealight candle holders or sconces—perfect as a personal treasure or a thoughtful gift!
No experience? No problem! These tealight sconces are super easy to create, and you can make as many as you’d like within the two-hour session. This workshop is so enjoyable that many participants come back time and again.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
The basic and correct techniques for using glass as an artistic medium.
The fundamentals of glass cutting.
A brief introduction to how glass performs in the kiln, unlocking the endless potential of glass fusing and slumping (warning: it’s addictive!).
You’ll be amazed at what you can create, even if you don’t consider yourself “creative.”
Want to make it extra special?
Feel free to bring along some refreshments, nibbles, or even a bottle of wine (18+ only) to enjoy during the workshop. Celebrating a birthday? Let us know, and we’ll have sparklers ready to make it memorable!
What happens next?
After the class, we’ll take care of the clean-up and kiln firing. You’ll receive an email with progress updates, and your candle sconces will be ready for pick-up 10–14 days later.
Your creations will be kept at our Richmond studio for up to two months after the agreed collection date. If uncollected, they’ll be donated to charity.
Important Information:
Photos may be taken during the workshop—please let us know if you’d prefer not to be photographed.
Our studio is on the first floor and requires climbing a flight of stairs, so unfortunately, there's no wheelchair access.
Feeling unwell? Contact us to reschedule your session at no additional cost.
Private Workshops:
Looking for a unique way to catch up with friends or family? Book a private workshop and have the studio all to yourselves! It’s a fantastic way to create memories together.
Don’t see a date that works for you? Let us know, and we’ll be happy to accommodate. Our space can host larger groups, so gather your loved ones and make it a day to remember.
We can’t wait to see you soon and introduce you to the amazing world of glass art.

I am Jenie and I am a glass artist, business owner and teacher based in Richmond, Melbourne. My passion is to focus on handmade small batch glass and alcohol ink events for glass lovers and learners.
I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create fabulous pieces of glass art and explore alcohol ink, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.
I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful. You don't need any expertise. Most of my classes are designed for the absolute beginner. You'll love being here. Its relaxing and fun being in this amazing space.
You can create all sorts of things in my studio, from bespoke handmade glass plates, to giant Mondrian wall clocks, or abstract wall art!
We run workshops for all ages. Come with your family and friends and create memories together.
This is the place for making gifts with love. Of course, you'll be able to say, no-one else, anywhere, has one quite like it. You can say "I made this!"
Come and play!
