Jen from LaceyClay will guide you through the process, from shaping and baking the clay to assembling components into wearable pieces.This workshop will feature the 'faux stone' technique, which is super popular on TikTok and Insta!Whether you're a beginner or have some experience in jewellery making, this workshop is designed to cater to all skill levels. You'll be working with high-quality materials and tools, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the creative process. Get ready to feel inspired and empowered as you craft unique pieces that reflect your personal style.At the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with several pieces of polymer clay jewellery. Get ready for a fun and rewarding activity that will leave you feeling accomplished and creatively fulfilled.The structure for the evening will include:
selection of your polymer clay colours
demonstration of polymer clay conditioning, rolling, and creative techniques
time to let your creative juices flow whilst you build up your design ready for cutting
selecting your shape cutters and cutting your jewellery components
baking time (approx. 20 mins + cooling time), where a technique to keep creating with your 'scrap' clay will be demonstrated
drilling your holes in the clay and assembling your finished jewellery pieces using a selection of metal jewellery components (e.g. hooks, studs, hoops, jump rings, charms, etc.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: This workshop will run for a minimum 2.5 hours up to a max 3 hours to ensure everyone can complete their project.You will be able to take home any unbaked pieces created with your scrap clay.BYO drinks and snacks and fancy glasses if you're so inclined (otherwise you'll be drinking bubbles from a coffee cup!).For this event, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
