Today, Furoshiki has become a versatile item everyone can use and enjoy.Furoshiki perfectly embraces the 4Rs of sustainability: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Respect. It is an eco-friendly way to wrap gifts and promote sustainable practices this holiday season.In this course, you will learn about the fascinating history of Furoshiki and how to use it in many ways. The class will also include guidance on selecting types of fabrics from the Reverse Garbage Warehouse, your selection will then be used in the course. Yoshiko ItoYoshiko Ito, a Japanese visual artist based in Sydney, has devoted herself to the exploration of Japanese arts and culture, drawing inspiration from her study of traditional Japanese metalwork. Her passion for preserving and revitalising Japan's rich heritage through various forms of arts serves as a testament to her dedication and creative spirit.
