Come along to this painting class in Mandurah and discover the exciting world of fluid art! If you've always wanted to learn how to create stunning and vibrant paintings but didn't know where to start, this workshop is perfect for you.
In this fun and interactive class, you'll be guided by a knowledgeable and friendly teacher who will walk you through the process step by step. You'll learn how to mix your paints and achieve the perfect consistency for your pouring medium.
Over two hours, you'll dive into the world of pour painting, and your teacher will explain a few techniques. In this class, you will start with the basic ring pour. This technique allows you to layer and combine your paints in a cup and then pour it out onto the canvas in a few different ways. While the paint is wet, you can also add some additional small crystals, glitter, or small stones to create a painting that looks similar to the beautiful goede or agate stones.
With a small class size of up to eight people, you'll receive personalised attention from the teacher, ensuring that you have a fulfilling and enriching experience. Bring along a few friends or come on your own to meet new people and share in the joy of creating art together.
Expect to get a little messy during the class, but don't worry! It's all part of the fun and creativity. You'll be working on two different canvases, each measuring 10 x 10 inches. These pieces will need to dry for a few days, so you are welcome to leave them at the teacher's place for later pick-up, as the paint is quite fluid on the canvas, which makes it a bit hard for transport while still wet.
Immerse yourself in this engaging workshop, where you'll not only learn new artistic techniques but also discover the limitless possibilities of fluid art. So come along, have a blast with your friends, and leave with your own beautiful creations that showcase your newfound skills.

Hi, my name is Rhonda and I've always had a passion for doing anything creative. I'm a full-time photographer of 15 years and work from my home studio. As I grew up, I always preferred to be learning how to sew, paint, arrange flowers, cook, read or take photos.
I've worked in a scrapbooking craft shop and ended up teaching card making and scrapbooking for a few years. I've been making my own soaps and candles as well for the past year. Pretty much my whole house is one big craft room with all my paints and props that I use for my photography.
A few years ago I decided I wanted to get back into painting again and try out fluid art and I spent hours watching tutorials while I was editing photos. I then spent a lot of time experimenting with different paints, mediums, and techniques to see what I loved in the end result. One of the things I love about fluid art is that you never know what the end result will be no matter how much you try to plan it out.
When I started posting my painting on social media I started getting requests for commissioned paintings and was asked if I did workshops. So I thought why not! I've taught classes before and I love sharing what I know with others. I hold the classes in my home so they are only small classes and great for a group of friends and it's easy for me to be able to teach you better if there are only a few people.
I love chatting to people and I'm a very chilled out person who will welcome you into my home to come and have a few hours of fun relaxing and having fun!
