Spend a relaxing and creative afternoon having fun with flowers and enjoying a glass of bubbles!
In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to create a beautiful vase arrangement using fresh seasonal flowers while overlooking the magnificent Beaumaris Bay.
This small group workshop will appeal to all the senses and is for anyone - no prior knowledge is required.
You will learn all about flower care, basic design principles, colour theory and other floristry tips and tricks.
And by the end of the workshop, the vase arrangement is yours to take home and enjoy.

Andrea’s floristry experience is broad - ranging from retail, e-commerce, events, art installations, weddings, teaching and hosting workshops.
Andrea is a qualified floristry teacher currently employed at Holmesglen TAFE, and is a qualified florist with experience working in studios, warehouses, shop fronts, and on site at art galleries, golf clubs, racecourses, wedding venues, learning centres, and corporate venues.
Highlights of her career include being amongst esteemed company at the National Gallery of Victoria’s “Art of Bloom” floral design event in May 2023, participating in three award winning Melbourne International Flower and Garden show floral display installations - in 2023, 2019 and 2017, Spring Carnival installations, and Wedding installations that include the Werribee Mansion, State Library, Crown Casino, St Kilda Synagogue, NGV Great Hall, Rippon Lea Estate, Carousel - Albert Park, the Grand Hyatt, Docklands, Sandringham Yacht Club, Royal Botanic Gardens and Red Hill Estate Winery (to name a few).
Undertaking a workshop host role for an organisation that focusses on positive mental health - flower crown workshops for pre-teen girls - has also been a highlight.
During the pandemic Andrea undertook a floristry co-ordinator role for an e-commerce business, overseeing 23 florists and providing ‘on the job’ training for unqualified floristry students.
Andrea is qualified to teach floristry in any environment (TAFE qualified, workplace qualified, workshop qualified).
