It’s time to customise your closet, DIY those dungarees, makeover that muumuu. Give your wardrobe a new life using the ancient art of embroidery in this fun Melbourne workshop.

This workshop is for absolute beginners and will familiarise you with hoops, needles and embroidery floss. You'll create gorgeous embroidery art using Australian native botanical designs and leave with the confidence to sew up a storm!
Wattle you learn? We'll cover all the essentials for embroidery, mastering three types of stitches: backstitch, satin stitch and the french knot. Perfect for the beginner or those wanting to brush up on their skills, you'll leave with your hoop, needle and a beginners guide to embroidery!
Aside from the tangible, embroidery practice rewards you with patience, precision, relaxation, creativity, and precious time away from your phone. Embroidery is easy to pick up and hard to put down; once you master the basics, the design options are endless. The only limit is your creativity.
At the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to give your grandma a run for her money and earn some serious street cred by confidently customising your existing clothes. Each participant will leave the class with a mini hoop to take home.
Please note: This class requires at least five students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class.
