It’s time to customise your closet, DIY those dungarees, makeover that muumuu. Give your wardrobe a new life using the ancient art of embroidery.

This two-hour workshop is for absolute beginners and will familiarise you with hoops, needles and embroidery floss. You’ll learn classic stitches (satin stitch, chain stitch, long and short stitch, leaf stitch and french knots) to get you started, and eventually complete a modern and unique design. Aside from the tangible, embroidery practice rewards you with patience, precision, relaxation, creativity, and precious time away from your phone.

Embroidery is easy to pick up and hard to put down; once you master the basics, the design options are endless. The only limit is your creativity. At the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to give your grandma a run for her money and earn some serious street cred by confidently customising your existing clothes. Each participant will leave the class with a mini hoop to take home.

Please note: This class requires at least five students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class
