2 hours Class size 12 to 40 guests     $160

Eco-friendly, fast-setting, water-based, non-toxic, and fume-free, Jesmonite is taking the craft world by storm. This composite material is often used in fine arts, crafts, and construction and consists of a gypsum-based material in a resin that can be used for a variety of different uses.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals (and some fun tips) of this incredibly versatile casting medium. We’ll cover measuring, mixing, pouring, colouring, creating terrazzo and marbled patterns, and how to correctly de-mould, and sand, as well as lacquering techniques for a professional finish.

We’ll have a range of colours and different mould options available such as trays, coasters, trinket boxes, plant pots, and more for you to explore and experiment with throughout the session.

At the end of the class, you'll have made up to three jesmonite pieces to take home and admire.

Please note: This class requires at least 5 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class
