Eleanor Voterakis

Eleanor Voterakis is a Melbourne-based visual artist and art educator.  Having exhibited at The University of Melbourne, Modern Times and the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery, her drawings often meticulously depict everyday objects which are forgotten, unappealing, or in unusual combinations with one another, creating an interesting tension between her subject matter and her technique. Currently teaching at the National Gallery of Victoria, Eleanor’s decade of educating folk in the form of traditional and contemporary illustrations is something you want to experience.
