Try out this virtual class with your partner for a unique date night, or gather the family to play with clay together. Get creative with an online clay handbuilding class and kit! No experience is required.
This hands-on, interactive video class is a great introduction to the basics of handbuilding with clay. Enjoy it in the comfort of your own home, while you enjoy a glass of wine and some snacks while you get making. Your DIY clay kit comes with clay, pottery tools and firing for two pieces of stoneware clay.
Your friendly teacher, Bruna Rodwell from Glaze Galleria, will walk you through how to use the tools in your kit and go through, step-by-step, how to make a cup and bowl using hand-building techniques.
Clay is a great tactile craft. It’s a mindful activity that helps you slow down in this hectic world. Plus, you can make things you can actually use.
Once you've made your pieces, you can drop them off at our Drummoyne pottery studio for high-temperature firings and glazing. This makes your pieces food-safe, microwave-safe, oven-safe and dishwasher-safe.
These classes are great for corporate groups and team building activities too. Request a class for your next event and craft with your colleagues!
