What you'll do
On the search for unique things to do at home? Our Mermaid Magic video tutorial and DIY kit is a fun way to learn more needle felting skills and know-how. In this beginner workshop, your teacher, Di, will give lots of advice and guidance on how to make these beautiful mermaids. Once you know how to make these mermaids, you can make some for your friends and family. They look beautiful on a mobile in a child’s room. This beautiful kit is the perfect start to a needle felting journey and comes with easy to follow video. Filled with beautiful Corriedale wools, this kit makes for a lovely treat or gift idea for someone special. Children under 10 years will need supervision while needle felting.

Your teacher
Dianne studied needle felting in Japan while living there for 16 yrs with some of Japanese finest needle felting teachers. Felting became a passion after years of practice. Dianne moved back to Brisbane and opened Wild Woolly Heads taking commissions for miniature replicas of peoples’ dogs, and large interior design trophy heads. Inspiration comes from her dog, garden and travels.
