What you'll do
If you love candles and enjoy using them for ambience and fragrance in your home, then this Sydney workshop is for you!
In this workshop, you’ll gain a sound understanding of candle making, learning how to make a soy candle and beeswax candle with fragrance oils that have been specifically designed for safe candle making.Enjoy working as an artisan and create a perfect gift for yourself or someone you love!You will learn:
- A basic understanding of candle making
- How to use tools and equipment to create candles
- Different types of waxes and their uses
- Wicks, fragrances and pigments
- Candle care and safety
The course fee includes a materials pack valued at $60. You will go home with your own hand-made candles.

Louise fell in love with handmade crafts at age 8, and developed a strong passion to live a natural and organic lifestyle that inspired her to learn about the art of candle making. The journey initially began as a mind-nourishing hobby that later flourished into a passionate career when her heart was captured by the amazing beauty that a simple fragrant candle brings, together with the calm and aromatic ambience it has to offer.
Her business Arcandles began here – crafted from a humble modest kitchen in Sydney, taking Arcandles friends to moments of beauty, bringing beautiful fragrances into homes, evoking cherished memories and uplifting spirits with this little flame. Louise would like to share her love and knowledge on candle making. She strongly believes that during the candle making process, students would be able to relief from their daily stressors, nourish their senses with therapeutic fragrances and feeling satisfied with their unique creations.
