Custom Furniture Making Course

CoCraft is pleased to offer participants the opportunity to design and make a piece of solid timber furniture over 5 weeks under the expert guidance and advice of our professional tutors.Maybe you have been thinking about making that dining table but don't know where to start? This is your chance.We will help you develop and finalise your design, source your timber, plan construction, and build it step by step.Our spacious, professional workshop and commercial-quality woodworking machines will make the manufacture of your table a straightforward process that has previously not been available to the public.Here's what you will do:

• Design and plan the piece
• Arrange purchase and delivery of timber - we have recycled hardwood for sale or we can recommend local suppliers.
• Machine and dress all timber
• Clamp and glue timber tops as required
• Domino and construct components
• Drum sand panels / top (fill as required), trim to size
• Sand and finish the base and top
• Assemble and apply sealers

There are only 4 spots available in each course to ensure students have thorough supervision at all times and achieve great results.We are experts in solid timber joinery and have a passion for sharing our craft with the public.Some woodworking experience is preferred to participate in this class. If you have completed a course with us previously, you are definitely eligible. If you have some other woodworking experience, let's have a chat about the options.
