Whether you're a beginner, haven't crocheted in years, or need guidance on basic crochet stitches, this beginner-friendly course will give you the skills and confidence you need.In this class, you will learn everything from the techniques for holding yarn and hook to reading crochet charts. With the guidance of our experienced instructor, you'll master the fundamental stitches of crochet, including single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and treble crochet.These stitches form the building blocks of many crochet projects, and once you've learned them, you'll be well on your way to creating beautiful crochet pieces!Throughout the course, you'll be able to practice your new skills by making a Christmas ornament.Each class will allow you to complete one ornament to take home, reminding you of the perfect handmade decoration for the holiday season.All crochet materials needed for the class are included, ensuring you have everything you need to get started. However, extra materials can be purchased from our instructor if you'd like to continue your crochet journey at home.So, what are you waiting for? Join us for this fun and interactive crochet workshop, where you'll gain the confidence and skills to create beautiful, crocheted pieces. This workshop is eligible for the Creative Kids Voucher, and I am a registered Provider. The workshop will need to be paid for in full first. Your teacher
I have a deep passion for teaching crochet, a skill I first learned at the age of ten when my parents ran a hand-knitting factory. Recently, I earned third prize in the crochet section at the 2023 Sydney Royal Easter Show. I believe crochet is a therapeutic and accessible hobby for people of all ages. I have the pleasure of teaching students ranging from young teens to those over 70, and I find it incredibly rewarding to share this craft with such a diverse group.
