Would you like to make toys, clothing, or household items? Then I'm putting together projects that may interest you. Learn to make granny squares and then turn them into useful projects. Or perhaps some amigurumi toys. These lessons will be held over several weeks.
These classes are suitable for those moving from beginner level up to intermediate.
First project of the year will be learning how to make granny squares. I will teach you how to work out how many you'll need for a project of your choice, how to block them, then how to join them into your project. Whether it might be a handbag, a blanket or an item of clothing.
Each week you can take your project home with you to work on making all the squares, or most of them, to then have ready for when it comes time to join them.
Hopefully, at the end of the 4 weeks your project will be complete for you to keep and use. If it looking like you might be struggling to complete your project in the 4 weeks we can negotiate for further lessons to complete your project.
Come join me. I'll be holding these lessons every Tuesday night at my local library. Or, we can negotiate for in-home lessons at your time schedule.


Knowledge required
Some knowledge of stitch names will be helpful. First project will use one stitch, treble stitch (UK) double crochet (US)
IF you are unsure then I will show you how to make the stitch.
What you'll get
Yarn and hook to make your project, unless you already have hooks. There will be a selection of colours to choose. And at the end you'll get to keep what you make.
 
Session repeats

This class series runs over 4 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
