Transform four sheets of paper into two books with covers! Create your own books for art, journalling, writing or collage.
A recent student said "I never thought I could do this!", then she did. It's not hard when someone shows you what to do step by step. No sewing is needed and no previous art skills are needed.
You may be a writer, a poet, a printmaker, a painter, or you like to doodle or draw and want to put your work together to share with others. This will give you the skills to begin.
Starting with a flat sheet of A4 paper, you will learn how to fold and cut it to create a mini book. This will give you the skills and understanding to tackle a larger, 50cms X 70cms or A3 or A2 sheet of paper to make a second book. There are many many, many creative variations you can add including pockets, windows and colour. It's all a creative adventure!
Your teacher will show you how to create a cover and attach it snugly to your book without glue. Only simple materials are needed.
You can join the books together to have more pages. You can use square paper to make a square book.
