Thank you for your interest in our leathercraft workshops in Melbourne.

In this session, you and your partner will have the opportunity to create two special items:

Couple Pencil Case: Craft a stylish pencil case using premium French Sully goatskin or Italian Full goat leather.

Couple Pouch-Style Card Holder with Charm: Create a practical and elegant card holder, also using the same high-quality leathers.

Workshop Details

Dates & Times: Thursday: 1:30PM – 4:00PM

Cost: $240 PER COUPLE

Workshop Highlights:

Pre-Cut Materials: All components are prepared in advance to ensure a smooth crafting experience.

Premium Leathers: Choose from luxurious French Sully goatskin or Italian Full goat leather in a variety of colours.

Skill Development: Learn essential techniques including saddle stitching, gluing methods, reinforcement materials, and applying edge coat for a polished finish.

This workshop is designed to provide a fun and engaging experience for couples, allowing you to create beautiful handmade leather items together.

I've been interested in leather crafting for almost 15 years now. During a tough period when I was struggling with depression, I found myself spending a lot of time at home. Wanting to overcome this difficult time, I started thinking about what I enjoyed and wanted to do. I remembered how much I loved studying Textiles in University, and I realized that I really enjoy creating things with my hands.

I started making small cushion covers and reupholstering furniture, and eventually, I decided to try making something out of leather. I bought small pieces of leather and started making simple items. I learned a lot from YouTube and through my own experimentation, and I quickly became passionate about leather crafting. It helped me to completely overcome my depression.

As I was able to design my own patterns and create the leather items I envisioned, I felt so happy and fulfilled. I wanted to share this joy and happiness with others, which led me to start teaching leather crafting classes.
