Have you ever tasted a German pancake - sometimes referred to as a Dutch baby? It's a fluffy bowl-shaped pancake that you fill with whatever you fancy. It's a cross between a big pancake, a Yorkshire pudding, a souffle and a popover.
The good news is it is super simple to make and the perfect dessert to cook for your next team building event!
In this hands-on virtual class, we will make a German pancake together and then cook up a filling of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar and finish with a dusting of icing sugar and a dollop of cream. Towards the end of our class, we'll gobble up all our delicious creations.
This dish makes a perfect brunch set-piece, they look so impressive pumped up straight from the oven to the table. You can make sweet or savoury fillings - and in the class, your teacher will give you some classic pairings you can use.
Each pancake makes four serves.
