Collage Workshop: Cut, Paste, Create

Learn basic collage skills in this creative Melbourne workshop

2.5 hours Class size 12 to 30 guests     $70

Paper, scissors, glue and you! Come along (with a friend or two) for a creative collage session, with Brunswick-based visual artist, Maximillian Malone.

Chop, tear and slice through an eclectic mix of vintage books and magazines (from Max’s personal archive) to create your very own, new original artworks.
During the two-and-a-half-hour workshop, you’ll remix and reimagine printed pages, exploring a variety of styles and processes, guided by a professional artist who specialises in contemporary collage. Step by step you’ll investigate and learn about every part of the process, from image gathering to cutting techniques, composing and glueing tips.

Even if you’re a ‘cut and paste’ regular, or if you haven’t collaged since pre-school, this creative and collaborative workshop is aimed at people of all abilities.

Sticking paper and people together is Max’s mantra, and he looks forward to welcoming you!
