Clay Hand-building Class

A fun, creative, and exploratory class for creative enthusiasts looking for a good time.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 10 (public classes), 1 to 30

$100 (Afterpay available)
Welcome to my hand-building workshop, a fun, creative, and exploratory class for creative enthusiasts looking for a great time.
This one-day hand-building course is designed for absolute beginners to intermediate creatives, or those just wanting to have fun.
Through demonstrations, practise, and experimentation, you will gain a deeper understanding of pinching techniques, coiling techniques, and slab techniques to build sculptural and functional forms.
I believe in creating an inclusive and relaxed space where everybody can learn, experiment, and express their creative side without judgement.
The small class size allows for personalised guidance, flexibility in creation, and fosters community amongst the group.
Work will be glazed in a colour of their choice (this process can take up to 1 month).
Collection of work: Students will be emailed when their work is ready for collection (all work to be collected within 2 weeks of notification).
I will supply the clay, tools, tea, coffee, and light refreshments.

Tess Jetnikoff is an Australian artist, living on Bundjalung Country (Byron Bay).
Renowned for her contemporary fauvist oil paintings, Tess uses palette knives and intensely saturated colours to create dynamic, textured layers. These bold, contrasting elements powerfully convey her work's ever-present themes of introspection, grief, acceptance, and female empowerment.
Tess has a huge passion for teaching. She loves encouraging people to see their worth and reach their full potential in whatever it is they dream to achieve.
