Fused Glass Art Workshop: Create Your Own Masterpiece

A fabulous day, full of fusing fun

5 hours Class size 1 to 4 guests

  $299 (Afterpay available)

So many people ask to come and spend more time here making more amazing pieces of glass art. So this is the class for you!
Come and take your time to make something special. It might be a complex platter or plate, it might be a small, unusually shaped item or it might be a combination of our Level One pieces.
Let us know what size and shape you want to create before you come so that we have the correct base and kiln shelf ready for you. Remember, it's our first full-day workshop together. This will be fun!
What's not to love? You'll be surprised at how clever you are at making something truly wonderful.
You'll be making a design that fits on a 30cm x 30cm kiln shelf. Larger items may incur extra costs.
When do I get my art glass piece back?
Once the class is over and the clean-up is done, all you need to do is wait for an email from us showing the progress of your plate. We'll let you know when it is ready to be picked up, usually about 14 days after your workshop. Your masterpiece will be kept here at our Richmond studio for 1 month after the workshop; it'll be donated to charity after that time.
Covid or flu – Rescheduling
If you're feeling under the weather from flu or COVID, no worries, contact us and we'll reschedule your class. Of course, there's zero cost for rescheduling.
Private workshops
We run loads of private workshops.
Make it a gathering with family and friends for an exclusive workshop. Let us know, and we'll tailor an experience just for you. Don't be shy, bring your family and friends and have the studio to yourselves! It'll be so much fun and a fabulous way to create memories together.
We are always happy to add other dates or create a private workshop for you and your friends if that suits you better. Just let us know.
You'll be photographed during this workshop; please let us know if you don't want this to happen.
You can return as often as you like to craft different designs. Come back and make a different design each time.
You'll love this workshop! Jenie

Location

Swan Street Artists Studios - 550 Swan Street, Richmond VIC

Car parks are surprisingly easy to find around our studios. We are on the intersection of Swan Street, and Bendigo Street, Richmond. You can often park right outside – fortunately we are at the quiet end of Swan Street. Remember there are Clearways in Swan Street, Richmond and the parking here is 2 hours so we’ll set our alarms and make sure we all move our cars at the 2 hour point. According to Google, there’s a 6-minute walk from Burnley Railway Station to 550 Swan Street (its 450 metres away). Tram 70 stops a few metres from our front door.

I am Jenie and I am a glass artist, business owner and teacher based in Richmond, Melbourne. My passion is to focus on handmade small batch glass and alcohol ink events for glass lovers and learners.
I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create fabulous pieces of glass art and explore alcohol ink, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.
I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful. You don't need any expertise. Most of my classes are designed for the absolute beginner. You'll love being here. Its relaxing and fun being in this amazing space.
You can create all sorts of things in my studio, from bespoke handmade glass plates, to giant Mondrian wall clocks, or abstract wall art!
We run workshops for all ages. Come with your family and friends and create memories together.
This is the place for making gifts with love. Of course, you'll be able to say, no-one else, anywhere, has one quite like it. You can say "I made this!"
Come and play!
