Ready to make ceramic pieces from scratch? Join us for a two hour hand building class at our vibrant studio in Melbourne! Perfect for beginners, this workshop invites you to get your hands dirty and unleash your inner artist.
Guided by a real ceramic enthusiast, trained in the world-famous ceramic town of Jingdezhen in China, you'll start with a brief introduction to basic hand building techniques and decoration.
Then, we'll dive into hands-on pottery making together. With the clay we provided, you can make a coffee set, incense stick holder, flower pot, or any tableware you feel like. Our instructor will guide you through the process, helping you craft something delicate and unique.
In the end, you’ll choose a favourite colour to glaze your vessel and we'll fire your masterpiece for you. It will be ready for pick-up in three weeks.
