Ever wondered how people achieve that elegant drip cake effect? Well in this Sydney cake decorating class you can learn how to make a drip cake with fresh flowers and will be able to take home your masterpiece! 

This sweet class is perfect for beginners as your instructor will take you through all of the easy steps and tips to smooth and decorate your own naked drip cake, without even fiddling with fondant. You'll learn how to make a caramel glaze, white chocolate leaves for decoration and apply and control the drip effect. 

During the class, you will layer and ice a six-inch vanilla butter cake and finish it off by decorating it with your own creative choice of fresh flowers, chocolate leaves and other delicious edible cake toppers.

You even get to take your beautiful masterpiece home to impress your family and friends, before diving into its sweet taste. Plus you will also leave with the creative tips and skills for achieving a professional drip cake finish, which will prove invaluable especially around birthdays and special occasions.

Amber Subaki is an artist, illustrator and cake decorator. With over 10 years experience working in the disability sector, including 5 years teaching art, Amber has a nurturing and inclusive teaching style. Her passion for cake deorating began 12 years ago when she became a mother. As an artist working in the fine detail of ink illustration, cake decorating was a natural transition to a fun hobby and side business.

She finds teaching cakes decorating to be a rewarding experience as it “gives people the confidence to create their own masterpieces at home with minimal equipment”.
