I’m Erica, a fashion designer who loves ripping up old clothing & re-making them into fabulous new pieces. I’m inspired by the transformation, of something old into something truly unique & special. Up-cycling is about breaking the rules, It’s about experimenting, learning to look at things differently, it’s about making the most of the resources we have all around us. I am professionally trained in fashion design & first began sewing at 3yrs old. Making my own clothes has always helped me feel unique and original and is an empowering form of creativity to teach. Creating from second-hand clothing is so much easier than people realize, and I love watching people loose themselves in the creative process. We are surrounded by an abundance of clothing making the up-cycling possibilities endless.
