Unleash your inner artist in our Botanical Illustration Workshop – a creative journey into the world of watercolour botanical painting. Whether you're a budding artist or just looking to explore your artistic side, this workshop is designed for all levels of experience.

Join us as we dive into the fascinating realm of watercolour techniques, where you'll learn to capture the beauty of botanicals on paper. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, from mastering compositions and line work to shading, layering for depth, and maintaining scientific accuracy.

In this fun and engaging workshop, you'll experiment with watercolours to create your botanical masterpiece. Walk away with newfound skills, a beautiful illustration, and the confidence to paint all the flowers your heart desires.

Please note: This class requires at least eight students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class.

Please note: This venue is located on the first floor via a flight of stairs and does not have wheelchair accessibility.

Liana Kappelle is a self-taught artist from New Zealand. She works in many mediums but her passion lies with watercolour. Liana combines watercolour painting with a somewhat alternative medium, coffee! She became solely focused on watercolour (and coffee) three years ago and has since become a resident artist at In.cube8r gallery as well as a constant contributor to many exhibitions and showcases around Melbourne. She has been teaching art workshops for the last six months.
